About the Role

As an Investment Manager for the Central Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and executing the allocation strategy across LATAM, managing large investments, and supervising the rides business performance in the region. This role requires strong intuition for business, as well as analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Ownership: Develop and manage marketplace investment strategies tailored to the LATAM region, aligning with global business objectives.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth data analyses to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for business growth and operational efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Build and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize business performance and investment outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with both local and global partners, effectively communicating and presenting findings, strategies, and recommendations to guide decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketing, finance, legal, policy, and operations to ensure seamless execution and alignment with overarching business goals.

2. Years of Experience/Industries: Three or more years of professional experience
3. Communication: English proficiency. Able to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
4. Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreements
5. Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture
6. Executional Excellence: Ability to work and accomplish multiple tasks in parallel, delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards
7. SQL Knowledge: Ability to create queries and knowledge of SQL clauses (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE). Basic Statistics knowledge is essential for data analysis and interpreting results effectively. Python or any other scripting language is a plus.
