המקום בו המומחים והחברות הטובות ביותר נפגשים
As a Project Kuiper Manufacturing Test Engineer you will own the execution of test campaigns for sub-assemblies to ensure readiness for satellite integration. You will work with multiple engineering and manufacturing teams to specify test equipment requirements, develop and execute test plans to support development and production test initiatives. Your focus will be in optimization of test processes to enable Project Kuiper production ramp plans. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging opportunity to work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. You’ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve. We want individuals who want to reach beyond what is possible today. Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment.
Key job responsibilities
* Experience with test automation frameworks like TestStand, Robot Framework, or similar tools for creating and managing automated test sequences.
* Ability to convert test plans and hardware specifications into automated scripts that execute test cases, record results, and handle exceptions.
* Experience with designing test cases for functional, performance, and stress testing in hardware systems.
* Strong debugging skills for identifying issues in both the test scripts and hardware setups.
* Familiarity with test equipment error logs, signal analysis, and troubleshooting hardware and software integration problems.
* Understanding of hardware communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet) to interface with test equipment or devices under test (DUT).
* Proficiency in developing manufacturing process controls to ensure product quality and consistency, including defining key process parameters, implementing statistical process control (SPC) methods, and integrating mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) techniques.Export Control Requirement:A day in the life
Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving testing issues to keep production on schedule, as well as driving efficiency improvements through automation and process changes. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, design, thermal and electrical engineering teams to achieve these objectives.
* 30% independent development work analyzing production and test data to identify and implement key production improvement actions, acting on quality escapes by developing and implementing new quality control measures, developing & executing to existing roadmaps for capacity increase, process simplification, etc.The tasks and daily focus change rapidly, and you will often take on exciting new responsibilities to ensure project success. Expect to be deployed to address complex problems by identifying the scope of the issue and quickly establishing innovative and functional solutions.
