The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an
Undergraduate Sales Enablement and Operations Internwithin the SIBG Global Commercial Center, you will contribute to advancing our Sales Operations pillar. Your work will support critical initiatives that drive sales effectiveness, operational excellence, and alignment with global business objectives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and gain valuable experience in a global commercial environment. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Supporting Sales Enablement Initiatives: Assist in developing and maintaining sales resources and tools to enhance team performance and productivity.

  • Data-Driven Insights : Analyze sales and operational metrics, generating insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

  • Process Optimization : Collaborate on projects to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiencies, ensuring consistency across global teams.

  • Driving Sales Growth: Contribute to initiatives that accelerate sales growth by increasing capacity and productivity, enabling the sales team to focus on high-impact activities and achieve business objectives.

  • Resource Management: Maintain internal systems and repositories, ensuring sales teams have access to accurate and up-to-date materials.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited institution.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Possess strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM or data visualization tools is a plus.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Be self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in problem-solving.

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St. Paul at least 2-3 days per week)
