In Walmart Global Tech, our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) organization is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience. Our mission within EBS is to enable Walmart's Global Enterprise to spend smartly, act digitally and build trust with associates and shareholders.

• As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for modernizing and supporting the Finance Data Factory from disparate designs and architectures to a modernized Data Lake House approach.
• You will use event Scala, Spark, Airflow, and BigQuery to interact with massive amounts of data to achieve business goals.
• You will be part of a key engineering team maintaining our architectural patterns, data quality standards, CICD Pipelines, and customer delivery focus.

What you'll bring:

• Solid experience in Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, Scala and Spark technology stacks.
• SQL and no-SQL Databases such as BigQuery, MySQL, Cassandra, and Postgres
• Demonstrated experience with Semantic Data Models.
• Exposure to Kafka or other high volume, low latency messaging infrastructure
• Practical exposure to Agile Methodologies
• Good understanding of CI/CD
• Good experience with any public cloud platforms and cloud native services
• Ability to perform in a team environment and ready to take ownership.
• True passion for technology, love to continuously learn and strive for excellence.
• Great communication/collaboration skills
