responsible to develop and support equipment reliability processes and initiatives in a vertically integrated, highly automated medical assembly facility.
What a typical day looks like:
- Analyze equipment failure data in order to drive improvements to equipment reliability
- Review and improve maintenance procedures required to improve MTTF and MTBF metrics
- Optimize spare parts inventories based on MTTF and MTBF of equipment
- Develop predictive maintenance systems, procedures and tools to improve equipment reliability
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and drive improvements resulting from equipment failures
- Assist in tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
- Provide support, knowledge and expertise in high volume manufacturing principles
- Periodic reporting to management and customers as needed.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams as required.
- Be responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing methods and capabilities and able to apply this knowledge to manufacturing equipment improvement
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in implementing reliability initiatives in an automated manufacturing facility.
- Experience working in a medical, automotive, aerospace, or other regulated industries in preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $80,400.00 USD - $110,500.00 USD AnnualProduction Engineering
