Description
You will be part of the dynamic and innovative WiFi System team! The team is responsible for ensuring the WiFiSystem meets the system performance specification and functions correctly. The system performance KPIs andfunctionalities include RvR, MU-MIMO, MU-OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.You will be responsible for developing and/or executing test methodologies for validating the connectivityperformance of the state-of-the-art WiFi systems. You will work with design engineers and system integration/test engineers
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge in wireless communication systems: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ac/be
- Experience testing WiFi systems in a lab Experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems Experience using and understanding lab equipment: signal analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, WiFi signaling tester.
- Proficiency with CMW500 or an equivalent is a plus.
- Experience using and understanding test tools: Sniffer, Wireshark, iperf, or equivalent
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C# Proficiency with using and controlling APs is a plus
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering +3 years of relevant experience. Masters preferred
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
