What you’ll do:

• Independently review model inputs, assumptions, algorithm, performance and implementation and perform incremental testing

• Collaborate with model owners and developers, discussing model observations and findings required compensating controls

• Write documentation from model reviews and enhance model testing framework

• Monitor execution of remediation actions as part of compensating controls

• Communicate validation findings and improvements clearly to stakeholders across the organization

What we’ll need from you:

• Financial background and willingness to learn

• Experience with financial risk, banking products or simple statistical analysis

• Ability to drill down model components to confirm root cause of model issues

• Interest in “what-if” scenarios and possible risk factors

• Strong persuasion and clear writing skills
