Team Description:
As a Director Data Science for Transaction Intelligence, you will shape our strategic direction and lead the execution of data-driven insights to enhance our digital products. In this role, you will utilize advanced machine learning and generative AI technologies to proactively identify customer needs and deliver actionable customer experiences to meet those needs.Your leadership will be vital in enhancing our customer service experience, fostering a high-performing team, and advancing our digital product capabilities. In a fast past competitive environment, you will promote the adoption of industry innovations and emerging technologies to elevate our data science practice.
In this role, you will:
Partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love
Leverage a broad stack of technologies — Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more — to reveal the insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data
Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
Flex your interpersonal skills to translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals

Basic Qualifications:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree plus 9 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree plus 7 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD plus 4 years of experience in data analytics
At least 4 years of experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis
At least 4 years of experience with machine learning
At least 4 years of experience with relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in “STEM” field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) plus 5 years of experience in data science or Masters in “STEM” field with at least 8 years of experience in data science
At least 1 year of development experience in cloud computing
At least 3 year of experience managing people
At least 5 years of experience with machine learning
