This job will design and implement advanced data science models to support business needs. You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Your role involves driving best practices in data science, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior scientists.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and reporting systems to support data analysis and decision-making.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

8+ years of experience in Product Data Science, including A/B testing, experimentation, advanced analytics, and applied machine learning.

Proven ability to lead and manage data science and analytics projects end-to-end, from ideation to delivery, leveraging data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics techniques.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with expertise in extracting, processing, and generating actionable insights from large, complex datasets.

Hands-on experience with modern data tools and platforms, including Jupyter Notebooks, BigQuery, Teradata, Hadoop, and Hive.

Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills, adept at translating complex analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences and influencing cross-functional decisions.
