ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Provides operating leverage to the CIB business leader(s) and teams within their business area, as well as CIB overall, in order to enable realization of strategic and performance objectives.3. Helps identify opportunities and designs/delivers strategies and programs to strengthen sales execution, remove barriers to success, and make processes more efficient and effective.
6. Serves as lead for strategic planning, staffing/talent planning, technology and analytics plan/roadmap development, goal setting for their business area.
7. Manages and leads through unstructured situations. Able to decipher critical vs. non-critical needs, provide clarity and appropriate prioritization for teams, creatively problem solve and drive effective execution paths in the face of ambiguity.9. Develops and maintains effective internal working relationships across CIB and the bank.
10. Applies solid risk management skills to make more complex risk decisions.
11. Mentors and coaches junior staff.

Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. 12 years of related work experience
3. Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products specific to CIB business
4. Advanced critical thinking, analytical and technical skills, with ability to problem solve and drive desired outcomes in unstructured / ambiguous situations
5. Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
6. Strong partnering, leadership and influencing skills in a complex, matrixed environment


1. MBA degree, with a Strategy or Finance focus
2. 14 years of related work experience
3. Prior management experience
