Job Summary:
As a Design Ops Manager within the Global Private Bank Design Team, you will oversee the day-to-day workflow and processes that support our growing digital design projects. You will collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers to deliver customer-led products and services. Your role will focus on managing project intake, execution, and reporting, ensuring that all deliverables meet our high standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the digital product portfolio, including project intake, assessment, resourcing, execution, and tracking.
- Partner with Head of Design Ops, Design Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate cross-team discussions and collaborate with various teams to understand business demand and guide project execution.
- Track project milestones, document status, and produce reports as needed.
- Serve as a single point of contact for project status and issue management.
- Ensure all deliverables are clearly specified, scoped, and agreed upon.
- Manage projects of varying sizes for successful delivery.
- Adhere to company standards and champion process improvements.
- Work autonomously and make timely decisions while managing risk.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of project/program management experience, with 3 years in digital design or marketing teams.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle at scale.
- Thorough understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
- Experience with Atlassian/JIRA software tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change direction based on team consensus.
- Strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in both a design studio and a large corporate environment.
- Familiarity with design systems and toolkits.
