Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new test automation frameworks. Integrate automated tests in CI pipelines to provide fast feedback.
• Write high quality production code and review others code.
• Identify opportunity to automate manual tests tasks and recurring issues.
• Works closely with product, developers to understand business and functional requirements to develop test strategy and test scripts.
• Mentor other junior members through feedback, training and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and integrate best tools and technology for automation.
• Perform thorough testing of application, identify root causes and escalate issues in timely manner.
• Foster a culture of quality by advocating testing best practices and identifying areas to improve test processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with automation framework using Cucumber Selenium, Cypress, or Mocha
• Strong coding skills in at least one modern language – Java, Python, C#.
• Strong understanding of databases and object-oriented design.
• Proficient in troubleshooting technical problems.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD.
• Experience with tools like Postman, JIRA, Zephyr, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience working with microservice based architecture.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prefer candidates having prior experience in financial industry.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
