Key Qualifications
  • Experience as an Interoperability Development and Test or Systems Engineer or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge in cellular protocol stack, including but not limited to, PHY/MAC/RLC/RRC/NAS procedures as well as end to end system knowledge (5G NR, LTE, WCDMA)
  • Past work experience in projects involving infrastructure vendors and/or chipset/OEM
  • Experience of hands-on experience testing wireless technologies (5G-NR, LTE, UMTS, WiFi-calling, IMS etc.)
  • Hands-on experience working with cellular infrastructure vendors on algorithm development and feature improvements
  • Excellent log analysis, troubleshooting, analytical skills
  • Scripting skills in Perl, Python or Shell is a plus
  • Consistent track record of project work from concept to commercialization
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while deftly driving multiple projects across many teams
  • Diligently hardworking and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
  • Laser-focused on the smallest details that are significant to our customers
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications or equivalent. PHD in EE a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
