As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d), you will manage and maintain Linux-based systems and KVM hypervisors in a large-scale cloud infrastructure. Optimize system performance, conduct regular monitoring, and implement proactive troubleshooting measures. Configure and manage virtual networking, storage solutions, and security measures in a virtualized environment.Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.We are cultivating a DevOps culture, adhering to the motto 'You build it, you run it'. You will join the on-call rotation, sharing responsibilities with the rest of the PlusOne team to ensure continuous support coverage and demonstrate your commitment to the role.
In addition to a high level of commitment and reliability, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you also bring the folllowing:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in virtualized environments.
• Proficient in various Linux distributions (e.g., Gardenlinux, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
• Strong understanding of file systems, kernel tuning, and performance optimization in tuning and optimizing both the host and guest systems for optimal performance.
• Expertise in system monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Zsh) and pyhon, golang for automation tasks
• Experience with libvirt for managing KVM environments and virsh command-line tool and libvirt XML configuration.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
