About the Role

The Program Manager is tasked with defining program requirements, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication across Qualcomm teams, and 3rd party partners. This role involves overseeing risk management, resource allocation, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the specified timelines.

About You & Your Responsibilities

  • Leads the collection of information across a variety of sources within and across cross-functional teams to create comprehensive plans with dependencies identified and critical issues/paths

  • Collaborates openly, respectfully, and inclusively with individuals inside and outside own functional area to integrate projects and ensure changes work with other projects

  • Communicates with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders about requirements and issue resolution through schedules, bug trackers, and project status updates

  • Seeks opinions and gains buy-in from leaders in other teams and/or departments about ways in which a problem can be addressed differently; implements best solution

  • Makes impactful and ethical decisions on complex issues that may have significant impact on project budgets, schedules, and goals

  • Considers impact to other work and team dependencies.

  • Manages designated team by translating business plans into tactical action items, ensuring all guidelines are followed, delegating tasks to meet goals and objectives, and overseeing the completion of work assignments

  • Ensures self and others adhere to Qualcomm standards of integrity and ethical behaviour.

  • Develops, coaches, and mentors experienced and junior members of the team and provides development assignments. Shares best practices with others on the team

  • Collaborates with key project sponsors and/or review board to develop project goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, coordinate business processes (e.g., project change management, communication), and facilitate decisions necessary for on-time project delivery

  • Forecasts, identifies, and secures internal and/or external resources and ensures the alignment with project demands for large projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • English and Arabic languages

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's Degree

  • PMP Certification.

  • 5+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

  • 5+ years of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
