The key deliverables for this role are:

  • Lead the operation for GDS Buenos Aires, reporting to location Finance Operate lead.
  • Oversee day to day delivery from BA team, composed by Manager, Seniors and Staffs, supporting accounting activities that include:
    • Manual JEs
    • Monthly Flash Report
    • Financial Result Summary
    • CFO Deep Dive Inputs
    • FERC reporting
    • Close Management
  • Become client stakeholders trusted advisor and main point of contact/escalation during the transition and after go-live
  • Coach junior team members to deliver client on timely and quality manner, becoming a referent for them and leading by example in terms of client communication and team behaviours.
  • Interact with other locations such as GDS India and ACR US onshore team to guarantee business model and client support is consistent across locations.
  • Monitor operation metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and Engagement metrics (utilization, Margin, Revenue)
  1. Finance domain knowledge
    • Controllership and Finance experience, including qualification in finance, has a good understanding of finance operations processes (R2R, B2P, O2C, …)
    • Work with Shared Services (captive or outsourced)
  1. Project / transition knowledge
  • Experience of transitioning complex F&A projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost
  1. Leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate across different time zones, cultures & teams
  • Deliver high quality materials to relevant stakeholders
  • Proactive: challenge the status quo and go beyond own lines of duty
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and pivots, “start-up” type of environment without clearly established processes & procedures or fully established support network (e.g. of SME’s, processes to follow etc.)
  • High say – do ratio: ability to assess what is feasible and manage expectations, delivers on promises (own it up!)
