This is a role for a senior CVML software engineer responsible for developing and maintaining relocalization frameworks that leverages of different technologies and sensor modalities. In this role you will support development of core algorithms within our relocalization framework. In addition you will advice on CPU/GPU/ANE optimizations upon HW. You will collaborate closely with other Computer Vision R&D engineers cross functionally on research and product development to extend the capability of the existing solution to challenging scenarios. You will supervise and support engineers in adoption of internal tools for testability, visualization and debugging.
  • MSc / PhD in computer vision, robotics; alternatively a comparable industry career, with significant experience on delivering products using state-of-the-art computer vision, machine learning technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience developing high quality software
  • Excellent C/C++, python development skills
  • Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Solid experience with CV libraries / frameworks
  • Solid fundamentals on computer vision, 2D/3D geometry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills (team player, self motivated, fast learner)
  • Experience with development of real time SLAM/Relocalization systems
  • Familiarity with macOS, iOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with build systems Xcode / CMake
  • Expertise with internal CV/ML frameworks for MacOS, iOS
  • Expertise in sensor fusion using a variety of sensors (vision, Wifi, depth, inertial sensors)
  • Expertise on development realtime visual perception solutions based on ML for place recognition
