As a Software Engineer on the Kindle Measurements & Insights team, you will take on exciting and challenging projects that help drive data-driven decisions across the organization. You will work with other engineers in your team, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams while you design, architect, and implement for Kindle Reader iOS, Android, FireOS and E-Reader. You will have lots of opportunities to think big and drive architecture decisions across OS, applications, and services to deliver real world customer impacts. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineer who has experience building mission critical, high tps applications that customers love. Someone who has expertise working with Java/Kotlin based systems with a blend of Objective-C/Swift and C++ and has the ability to quickly learn and contribute. You will manage large scale data pipelines and support your customers to meet their business objectives.A day in the life

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
