DESCRIPTION

Key job responsibilities
- SoC Architecture: Define and realize world class silicon architecture involving high speed SERDES, Ethernet, DRAM interface, compute cores, interconnects, complex custom IPs with focus on performance, power and area.
- Facilitate seamless integration across Firmware, RTL, Platform Software, and Platform Drivers.
- Develop Debug tools: RTL Emulation, silicon bring-up, and functional validation.Export Control Requirement:A day in the life
In this role you will:
- Work closely with the system architects to define and architect world-class SoC and IP blocks, which meet power, area and performance targets.
- Define compute architecture for wireless protocol stack and packet processing.
- Develop performance model to evaluate the architecture.- Contribute to the SoC floor planning and physical design effort.
- Assist with SoC debug and bring-up.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Candidate must have 7+ experience in performance architecture across CPUs, interconnect, high speed network I/O, and memory systems in SoCs with emphasis on power efficiency.
- Must have experience in ARM and AMBA protocols.
- Strong preference for software skills spanning pre-silicon architectural modeling, high level workload characterization and tuning, and low level systems programming.
- Strong preference for debug skills in pre- and post-silicon environments and experience collaborating with architecture, design, verification and validation teams.
- Experience in Linux, embedded RTOSs, networking and wireless communication systems a plus.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of digital design experience, preferably in SoC design and implementation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Expertise in ARM and/or RISC-V CPUs, compute architecture for high speed packet processing, cache coherent interconnect, AMBA protocols, Ethernet, and DRAM performance.
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
