JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the data migration project from planning to execution, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and IT professionals, to define migration requirements and strategies.
  • Develop detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Identify and document data sources, data mapping, and transformation rules.
  • Oversee the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness post-migration.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on migration progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the data migration framework.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data management and warehousing.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5 + years of experience in data management, with a focus on data migration and data warehousing
  • Proven experience leading large-scale data migration projects
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and database design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., SAP BW, HANA, and Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
  • Certification in data management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
