In this role, you will assist in forecasting future design and product trends, inclusive of relevant thought starters, concepts and narratives for Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, Color, Materials, Print & Pattern. You will also help to build on key consumer insights, translating these into actionable solutions for Design.
At least 1-2 years of design and/or product trend forecasting experience in agency or in-house setting or equivalent.
Understandingof the foundations of trend research.
Demonstrates knowledge of and passion for sport and youth culture, as well as innate curiosity for the future.
Experiencedunderstandingof design, fashion and street trends.
Strong curiosity, open minded, with a thirst to research and examine multiple sources for new creative ideas and intelligence.
Ability to conduct research -- both desk and field. As well as ability to travel for trend research.
Ability toconnectdots and pattern-map insupportof synthesizing research findings.
Skilled in moving between abstract andanalyticalthinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience interviewing consumers is not essential but a desire to learn and develop this skill is.
