The Internal Control Analyst plays a critical role in the annual Controls Testing Campaign, ensuring its timely and comprehensive execution. This involves leading the annual controls testing campaign from end to end for the functions supported. The role requires a strong understanding of Internal Control framework, controls testing, financial data, and analytical skills. In addition, this role will also support audit testing (as needed), comment development and remediation, and facilitate interpretation of the control policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Serve as Internal Control partner for multiple business functions
- Manage overall Controls Testing Campaign for business functions supported
- Support Controls Testing Office Hours as needed
- Facilitate compliance with corporate, financial, regulatory, local, and other policies as required
- Be a valued partner as you apply a control mindset to assist operating teams simplify business processes, workflow, communicating and collaborating across multiple positions
- Leading & Supporting Special Projects (including Hackathon & AI)
- Report control metrics to the leadership team
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business Admin, Accounting, Information Systems)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data management techniques (2+ years)
- Experience with financial data and reporting (2+ years)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Desire to learn system principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with various team
