What you'll do...
Core data is in the process of moving to a platform/data mesh architecture where end consumers will have the ability to bring their own data using Core data's infrastructure, so expect lots of work around platformization and thinking and building for scale.
What you'll do:
Work with PMs and EMs on synthesizing high level product and engineering requirements and converting them into technical specs
Create design documents with design trade of decisions and review with architects
Write clean code in Scala for Spark, Airflow and Spark streaming
Conduct peer code and design review and provide constructive feedback
Gain knowledge of Walmart's ads business and where we are headed and gain domain expertise over time
What you'll bring:
Strong engineering skills with previous experience working on platform initiatives
Innovation through new technology or process improvement ideas
Strong team collaboration and best practices on coding, review, design reviews, etc.
