Define metrics and manage performance: Collaborate with cross functional partners to identify metrics that align with business drivers; set team goals; and track progress.
Build models to inform the impact of product changes to top and bottom line metrics.
Analyze performance data across company-wide initiatives to curate actionable insights, identify opportunities for alignment, and drive strategic decision-making
Drive measurement and reporting frameworks across bi-annual releases and company-wide initiatives
Lead business reviews at a regular cadence to share performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on latest data.
Partner with other Finance partners to drive our monthly reporting, bi-annual planning and budgeting processes.
Identify step-change opportunities: Partner with operating teams to identify areas of outsized impact through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarks, and competitive research, and coalesce into actionable strategies.
Your Expertise:
8+ years of experience in strategic finance, data analytics or management consulting
MBA or advanced management degree preferred, but not required
Strong ability to work and influence cross-functionally, and a proven track record of driving change and process improvements in a fast-paced, cross functional working environment
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information. You excel at absorbing large amounts of data and qualitative insights, and quickly developing compelling narratives that lead to actionable recommendations
Adept at financial modeling in Excel, and are willing to gather internal and external data points to help build a comprehensive business case
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is a plus
Excellent communication and relationship building skills; ability to translate technical concepts from engineers into clear financial models and executive presentations
Familiarity or passion for the technology, marketplace or travel and hospitality industries is a plus
