Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks an Investment Banking Associate for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Analyze data tapes and due diligence material for loan bids, acquisitions, sales, and securitizations. Responsible for the day-to-day activities required for established facilities including the administration and monitoring of funding requests, monthly processes, initial and ongoing diligence, and collateral documentation. Assist with the management and coordination of securitization transactions with clients, rating agencies, internal and external counsel, diligence vendors, structurers, and the trading desk. Contribute to the development of business and transaction marketing materials including pitches, investor presentations, transaction documents, and data tapes. Work with third-party providers and clients on all aspects of the due diligence process including compliance review, servicing and payment histories review, title review, data integrity review, and collateral review. Perform data analysis and run scripts to import, aggregate, and normalize loan-level data. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Working with transaction parties including issuers, servicers, accountants, lawyers, and rating agencies to prepare deal documents and legal disclosures, respond to investor inquiries, and ensure data accuracy and timely deal closure; Handling the diligence process for securitizations including compliance, title, data integrity, collateral, servicing, and payment history reviews; Leveraging analytical tools including SQL, VBA, and Python to review and evaluate large data sets; Utilizing financial data platforms including Bloomberg to analyze asset performance and provide market trend analysis; and Overseeing activities required for warehouse facilities including the administration and monitoring of monthly processes, initial and ongoing diligence, and collateral documentation. 40 hrs./wk.
