In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, configure and optimize Dayforce reporting tools, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the implementation and post-deployment phases.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Dayforce reports and dashboards to support HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HRIS modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and Time & Attendance.
- Support system upgrades, configuration changes, and new module implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with Ceridian support when needed.
- Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and system configurations.
- Train members and end-users on Dayforce reporting capabilities and best practices.
- Participate in audits and compliance reporting as required.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems.
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS or HR reporting roles, preferably with Dayforce HCM.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data transformation techniques (e.g. Joins, Aggregations, Grouping, etc.), Data Visualization tools, and Excel
- Solid understanding of HR processes and data structures.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with Dayforce Data Integration Studio (DIS) or Dashboards Pro
- Experience developing new Dayforce Reporting topics, including V2 and V1 (SQL-based) Report Topics
Knowledge of relational database design and management
