• Law enforcement relationships: Build and sustain positive, open, and cooperative relationships with law enforcement.
• Create opportunities to deliver in-person engagements: Orient law enforcement on our data exchange process to ensure investigations are supported efficiently and effectively.
• Support critical incidents: Act as key representative of Uber Public Safety during critical incidents ensuring timely and effective support and communication with law enforcement. Deliver incident updates and thorough post-incident reports to leadership.
• Enhance community safety: Informed by law enforcement engagements, collaborate with and lead internal teams to protect users and the broader community.
• Regional travel: Travel for in-person meetings, public speaking, relationship-building initiatives across the region.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years in law enforcement and/or prosecution expertise, with proven knowledge of technical inquiries, communication strategies, and movement data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with law enforcement investigators and executives, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience working alongside industry or government partners to conduct joint investigations or community safety initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
• Experience in analyzing information to reach data-informed decisions, create solutions, and effectively deliver in written and verbal communication to law enforcement, leadership, stakeholders.

For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year - USD$126,500 per year.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$128,000 per year - USD$142,500 per year.
