Description
We're seeking a passionate and driven Quality Engineer to play a critical role in guaranteeing the excellence of our image generation software and models. You will:- Champion Quality: Develop comprehensive image quality evaluation plans, meticulously report and triage bugs, and proactively identify areas for automation.- Drive Innovation: Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools to meet the unique challenges of generative AI.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field. Two years of related professional experience can substitute for the education requirement.
- 3 years experience in a Software QA Engineer role
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop test plans, test cases, assess risk, and file clear and concise bug reports.
- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to triage issues, prioritize effectively, and propose solutions.
- Extensive experience with UI/UX testing and front-end software applications (Mobile/Games/Media/Content/Consumer Electronics).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience testing Image/Video software applications.
- Expertise in subjective evaluation of images/videos.
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, SwiftUI).
- Experience developing automated software tests.
- Familiarity with image processing and computer vision concepts.
- Experience working with tools and automation frameworks.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
