Description
In this role, your responsibilities will span various RDBMS technologies, distributed databases as you oversee dynamic, distributed database environments crucial for supporting OLTP systems. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with a diverse, multi-functional team, both locally and remotely, to design, develop, and support the advancement of our next-generation products and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with distributed databases like CockroachDB, including setup, configuration, and management.
  • Knowledge of graph databases (e.g.,ArrangoDB , TigerGraph) and related query languages (e.g., Cypher, GSQL).
  • Implement infrastructure automation and scripting using tools like GitHub, CloudFormation, Shell, Go, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for proactive performance management
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of proven experience with Oracle RAC, , Oracle GoldenGate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to fix sophisticated database issues and propose effective solutions.
  • MySQL/Postgres expertise
  • Docker/Kubernetes experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
