Key job responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with partner shows and talent.- Maintain the Wondery+ and partner show content pipeline, ensuring a steady cadence of hit shows for listeners.
- Stay abreast of industry news, emerging trends, competitive landscape and offerings, audio platforms, podcast landscape as well as top and emerging shows in all categories.
- Attend industry conferences as required to develop industry relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present up to C-level executives and gain buy-in.
- 6+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
- Experience working with top talent, content partners, and/or publishers
- Experience negotiating and closing complex deals
- Experience creating and implementing new deal structures without precedent
