Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing strategic legal advice on a variety of complex issues and topics
Translating laws, regulations, and legal requirements into clear and focused guardrails
Building relationships and collaborating with business stakeholders in wide-ranging roles
Understanding business needs and providing appropriate solutions to reach the desired goals
Working collaboratively with other members of the Legal Department to provide advice in a consistent, well-reasoned manner
Basic Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 5 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in advising technology or financial-services companies
3+ years of experience working as an attorney on tech, data, marketing, or product development
Experience advising companies on matters of regulatory compliance, including with UDAAP, the FCRA, GLBA, ECOA, and TILA
This role is hybrid meaning associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are options for in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
Plano, TX: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Manager, Sr. CounselThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.. Eligibility varies based on full or part-time status, exempt or non-exempt status, and management level.
