Citi's Military Officer Leadership Program (MOLP) is a transitional leadership development program supporting military veterans as they exit military service. The MOLP (Ops Senior Manager Program) utilizes customized development paths to help each participant successfully gain the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to build a dynamic career in financial services management. Associates in the Military Officer Leadership Program participate in three targeted experiential learning opportunities through prescribed work assignments over a 24-month period, classroom based learning opportunities, active coaching and mentoring through interactions with assigned senior leaders and business partners, and engagement with a variety of other project and peer support initiatives.Responsibilities:
- Participates in a business orientation and immersion session targeted to experience level.
- Receives training in preparation for success to hit the ground running and immediately influence the business.
- Participates in comprehensive training & mentorship program throughout the duration of the on-program experience. A customized approach to development has been outlined especially for Military Officer Leadership Program (MOLP) participants, and it combines classroom learning with online self-paced training modules to enhance the on-the-job experience.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be a military veteran.
- Military leadership experience which would typically be achieved through 4-12 years as a Commissioned or Non Commissioned Officer in any branch of service, ideally at the O-2 through O-4, or E-5 through E-8 Grades, with a demonstrated record of success.
- At least 18 months in a qualifying unit leader equivalent position with direct supervision of at least 15 or more subordinates.
- Staff experience preferred.
- Ideally no more than 0-4 years of separation from military service.
- Demonstrated learning agility.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise communication skills.
- Forward thinking and able to work through ambiguity.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priority and direction to achieve positive business.
