As a Senior Software Engineer II Lead, you will focus on building highly usable, reliable and scalable storage solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer II Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring a distributed engineering team.
• Fostering team culture, facilitating personal and career growth for team members.
• Providing technical expertise and leadership.
• Collaborating with stakeholders about progress, roadblocks, and timelines.
• Designing and developing new features, optimizing and enhancing existing software functionality.
• Collaborating with our architecture, QA and operational teams to create a world class storage service

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• Demonstrate experience with Python, Go, C++ or other programming languages.
• Have experience in technical and/or team leadership
• Possess experience developing backend software in a Linux environment,
• Demonstrate good knowledge of cloud storage technologies and their associated protocols.
• Have good knowledge of Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
