In this position...
Export HVC is located in Livonia MI. We receive and ship orders to our export customers in our 750k sq ft warehouse. We have 2 shifts of operation and 63 UAW employees. This is an onsite position that requires the ability to work any shift, holidays and some weekends.
What you'll do...
-Knowledge and execution of the following
•Safety, Denials, Errors, Quality, Grid Times, On-Time Delivery, UAW Relations, Transportation, National and Local contracts
•Leading the team with manpower planning for receiving, picking, consolidation, and shipping
•Ensuring all TWOs accounts and Employee pay/attendance are completed
•Holding employees accountable to their daily expectations
You'll have...
•Strong interpersonal skills – all responsibilities require a person to have the ability to effectively communicate, giving and receiving candid feedback, conflict resolution, training new supervisors, etc.
•Systems – SAP – EWM/SCM/ECC, MMP, TWOS, ART, OSHIM, facilities, RF programing, Outlook, Excel, Word
•Background and success with building relationships and maintaining a working with the UAW.
•Ability to manage and direct the operation toward continuous improvement and best in class network performance in: Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, and Velocity.
