In this role, you’ll:
You will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:
- Contribute to the design of appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud provisioning using test-driven methodology and cloud native tooling.
- Learn/solidify skills in Golang and JavaScript programming
- Work on Golang operators and Node.js ES6 based microservices deployed on Kubernetes.
- Develop functionality and implement measures to ensure secure cloud operations.
- Learn new skills in CI/CD and quality management.
- Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for the task.
- Work closely together. (We encourage pair programming)
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Enrolled at a university or a university of applied sciences for the duration of the internship.
- Good team player. No shyness regarding code reviews and pair programming.
- “Can do” attitude and willingness to learn new things.
- Willingness to work on tasks according to priorities of the team.
- Willingness to master the “full stack” from UI to Backend as well as Continuous Delivery & Continuous Integration.
- Eager to learn about Golang / Node.js and state of the art Open Source Cloud Native Kubernetes tools.
- Openness towards new technologies.
- Analytical skills combined with the ability to work on complex topics and drive its realization.
- Knowledge of software development in at least one modern programming language is required. JavaScript/TypeScript or Golang is a plus.
- Proficient in Git: Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, for managing and tracking changes in code.
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar platforms for collaborative coding.
