Job Description Paragraph:Through relationships with our clients, Citi supports a broad range of manager investment models, including fixed income and domestic and international equity. The position will be responsible with dealing directly with the client to discuss operational requests or concerns across all areas of the middle office. The primary focus will be providing oversight to operations teams residing in Gurgaon, India and Warsaw Poland, servicing Trade Processing, IBOR, Reconciliation, Pricing with exposure to the portfolio performance and client reporting. Oversight to include managing client and operations team inquiries, data analysis of operations outputs to determine area of improvement and efficiencies.

• Knowledge of portfolio accounting and/or trade processing with the ability to assess and troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Ability to analyze data to determine issues and/or areas of improvement
• Development, creation and review of KPI metrics related to differing groups within Middle Office such as Investor Reporting, Reconciliation and Trade Processing.
• Assist with client inquiries across all service components in Middle Office.
• Assist with department wide projects/initiatives to improve the client experience.
• Be an advocate for Middle Office clients

Job Skills/Qualifications

• 5-8 years front/middle/back office experience
• A strong operational knowledge of middle office operation, and/or industry knowledge of Trade Processing, Performance, Client Reporting.
• A strong Microsoft Excel background required. Microsoft Access is a plus.
• Multifonds knowledge is highly desired.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
• Ability to Multi-task
• Effective time management skills
• Solve complex customer problems and consults with customer as required
• Defines, develops, implements and tracks appropriate KPIs and SLAs for the group
• Applies/demonstrates advanced understanding of securities processing operations and middle office activities, combined with a comprehensive understanding of how own area integrates with other departments to contribute towards achieving business objectives
• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and streamline processes
• Influences and negotiates with operational teams (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
• Reviews and analyzes data on productivity and efficiency; makes strategic decisions on solutions and improvements; present recommendations to organization and senior management
• BA in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

There are currently no direct management responsibilities, but this role will manage a matrix of SMEs to complete client requests and Product enhancements.
