The Intermediate Analyst is an experienced incumbent who performs identification, analysis and announcement of corporate actions/legal notifications, and will also be involved special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed. Supports the development of new techniques and streamlining of processes and manual touch point reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Must have an aptitude for detailed writing, and reading of financial documentation and corporate actions literature/investor publications
• Must possess critical thinking abilities and a proven aptitude towards process improvements
• Provides creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
• Train new team members
• Manage and complete special projects as assigned
• Manages daily operational activities and work with manager to ensure workflow completion in fast-paced-deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution, and diplomacy skills are required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or commensurate industry experience)
• 2+ years of financial industry/securities operations experience
• Technically skilled in Operations experience a plus.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical, risk prevention and judgment skills.
• Able to facilitate discussions, challenge technology teams, and prospectus issuing agents, and present concise recommendations to management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills.
• Team player
• Must be fluent in Portuguese/English
