Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
    • Or equivalent experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years of experience.
    • OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Compute Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years of experience.
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Engage with Microsoft cloud business units to define future hardware platform and virtual machines requirements and align recommendations for executive approval.
  • Recommend internal and external process improvements and help establish principles for decision-making to help set, manage and change roadmap plan of record (POR)
  • Build trusted partnerships with executives across stakeholder teams and business groups, and foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and shared decision-making.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion about learning and deploying new technologies
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • You will influence others to drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. You’ll also be an expertise in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas.
  • You will define a feature set and facilitate senior-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
  • You will scale Product Marketing teams by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as leading the creation of customer support plans.
  • You’ll also take advantage of major opportunities to promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.
  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in multiple areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers across sectors.
