What you'll do:
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide hands-on coding expertise with an aptitude for technical leadership to provide feature development and modernization of Walmart's Promotion/Appeasement platform.
- You will work closely with Product, Quality Assurance, and Technology Teams to ensure the highest level of stakeholder and end-user satisfaction.
- You will be a critically important member of the application development team in software design, coding, implementation, upholding our architectural patterns, coding standards, quality principles, and customer focus.
What you'll bring:
- Proficient in the design and implementation of REST API web services using Java and Spring framework.
- Skilled in crafting comprehensive test plans, creating test cases, and developing automation tests utilizing TestNG and Mockito.
- Well-versed in the design and testing of Relational Database Management Systems, encompassing MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Adept at designing and implementing Kafka Producers and Consumers.
- Experienced in working with Elasticsearch for efficient search and data retrieval.
- Experienced in the creation, development, and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines using Git and Cloud platforms.
- Proven track record in constructing logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions using Splunk.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
