Responsible for identifying short- and long-term investment opportunities and Global Markets for Citi Private Bank investors in the region and for presenting, commenting and writing about such opportunities in diverse forums
Provide surveillance of emerging macroeconomic and political developments across the region and will work with Citi Research analysts and product specialists to help identify individual investment opportunities across fixed income, equities and currency markets
Represent the team's global macroeconomic views in client meetings throughout the region and should be able to express these views in a clear and concise manner.
Define and present to the sales force Citi Private Bank's Regional Views in consultation with Citi Research regional analysts and local markets units.
Provide Regional Input to Global Investments Committee
Write periodical Regional View papers
Coordinate successful delivery of GIC's message n the region
Transmit Global Investment Committee views to the field and to Citi Private Bank Clients
Work with the Investments Lab to identify asset allocation Gaps and with product specialist to define strategies to close such gaps.
Lead the regional discussion of implementation strategies and action plans for Citi Private Bank Global Themes
Participate actively in region's Sales and Research Calls
Coordinate successful rollout of Citi Private Bank Global Outlook
Work closely with the RIH, IC Team Leaders and Product Heads helping them understand and implement the firm's Market Views.
Contribute periodically to Quadrant and other Citi Private Bank Publications
Participate in Sales Calls with Clients and Prospects\
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience
Bilingual; Cantonese/Mandarin preferred
Strong quantitative skills, written and presentation skills; Ability to work in both a team and individual creative setting.
US Only: Securities Industry Exam, S7 & S66; NOTE: Securities Industry Exam (SIE is a prerequisite to the S7)
