Description
You will be responsible for validating the performance and functional aspects of Wireless on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle, from early prototypes to post-release phases. Your role will also involve ensuring that Wireless on Apple products remains at the forefront of technological advancements. You'll conduct in-depth analysis and proposing improvements to innovative technologies developed at Apple through focused experiments and real-world engineering analysis to improve overall end-user connectivity experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Electronics / Engineering field
- 3+ years of validation experience in WiFi technologies
- Solid understanding of existing wireless communication protocols, such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding or WiFi/Bluetooth/Cellular CoExistence.
- Strong understanding of OS Internals, TCP/IP and other layer 3 protocols.
- In depth knowledge of analyzing over the Air data.
- Experience with Matlab, Python and Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of WiFi systems and hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization.
- Knowledge using and understanding of lab equipment: signal analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, sniffer tools
- Open to travel and perform field testing
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
