Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of legal experience in government, private sector (in-house or law firm), or non-profit sector providing advice, and drafting technology-related terms and agreements.
  • Experience advising on software, intellectual property, or technology-related issues.
  • Experience providing strategic, practical advice to product, business, and engineering teams on regulatory compliance and inquiries, as well as litigation, related to software or hardware technologies.
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communicates effectively with teams from multiple backgrounds, including engineering, design, product, and business teams.
  • Pays attention to details and considers how they fit into the larger picture. Analyzes problems and collaborates with others to help drive workable solutions.
  • Enjoys building strong client relationships and works well with cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter who is curious, embraces technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical experience (e.g., software engineering) a plus.
  • Strong technology licensing and transactions background.
  • Open source software experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $217,300 and $326,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
