Job Summaryto support day-to-day responsibility for M&A activities (relating to acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures)at our Corporate Headquarters.
What a typical day looks like:
- Partner with business leaders and M&A leadership to develop dynamic, comprehensive financial models that inform the investment thesis. Provide input on valuation methodologies and guide business leaders on key valuation drivers.
- Present valuation outputs and their implications on strategic rationale to senior executives.
- Translate operating models into multi-scenario valuation analyses, leveraging methodologies such as discounted cash flow, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
- Maintain and update deal models throughout the transaction lifecycle, incorporating insights from functional diligence and internal discussions.
- Lead and coordinate discussions with cross-functional diligence teams to assess findings, evaluate risks and opportunities, and determine their impact on valuation.
- Manage internal and external information flow during due diligence, ensuring data integrity, timely access, and alignment across stakeholders.
- Drive integration assumptions into valuation modeling to ensure they are realistically reflected in the deal economics.
- Synthesize financial and strategic analyses into concise, executive-ready materials.
- Support Corporate M&A, business unit M&A, and Strategy teams in building and managing a robust transaction pipeline by engaging with bankers, private equity firms, and other external parties.
- Oversee deal tracking using platforms such as Dealroom and manage virtual data rooms (VDR) as required.
- Manage critical deal logistics, including VDR oversight, project timelines, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with internal policies.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%, as required.
What we're looking to add to our team:
- Advanced degree (MBA preferred) with a concentration in Finance or Accounting from a top-tier institution.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial consulting, or corporate M&A.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and project management.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and valuation principles, including cash flow forecasting and capital structure implications.
