Primary Responsibilities:

  • Foster productive relationships between Capital One and Federal Regulatory Supervisory staff.

  • Support examination preparation activities (logistics management, fulfillment of responses to the examination request letter) in the areas that primarily include risk management and finance.

  • Support execution of the examination on-site activities, e.g., meetings, document requests, matrix management, daily calls, issue resolution.

  • Identify potential risk areas through the review of policies, procedures, and related documents and influence potential corrective actions.

  • Monitor corrective actions and ensure they are on-track for appropriate and timely mitigation.

  • Support advocacy efforts by researching and analyzing new regulatory and supervisory policy developments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in risk management, audit, finance, consulting, regulatory agencies, or any combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management, finance, audit, consulting, regulatory agencies, or a combination

  • At least 5 years of experience supporting integrated projects or programs where senior leaders and external stakeholders are your customers

  • At least 3 years of experience working in banking and financial services

  • At least 3 years of experience working with banking regulators and regulatory policy

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Risk ManagerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
