U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow in Jacksonville, Florida.

Essential Responsibilities:

Problem related functions (troubleshooting, creating and maintaining, integration).This position will primarily perform job duties within the ServiceNow platform to create and maintain services used across the enterprise by 80K+employees and contractors. The Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. Additional responsibilities include: performing system integrations and troubleshooting utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API, SOAP, XML, JSON, LDAP, Jira, Service Catalog, Mid-Servers and SDLC; utilizing agile/scrum methodologies for enterprise applications; designing and developing new ServiceNow applications and services; creating, monitoring, modifying, and publishing service catalog workflows; creating access control rule (ACL); employing scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create script to automate routine tasks being done in ServiceNow; developing, configuring, and maintaining custom service requests using Advanced Interface forms in Service Request Management application to meet Request catalog requirements of the IT business users; full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; consistently creating optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; making sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront; taking feedback from code review and applying changes to meet standards; conducting code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures; ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; exhibiting relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards; embracing emerging technology opportunities and contributing to the best practices in support of the

bank's technology transformation; contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement; reviewing tasks critically and ensuring they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; and anticipating and communicating blockers and delays before they require escalation. Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering plus 2 years of experience as a System Analyst, Software Engineer, or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Software Engineer, or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.


Must possess 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with: Designing, Configuring, Administration, Scripting, Customization, Deployment, and Integration; technical implementation of various ServiceNow modules; developing custom workflows utilizing modern web technologies; rapidly prototyping new solutions and resolving health scan findings within SLA; supporting APIs and maintaining up-to-date documentation; ServiceNow; Java Script; HTML5; Jira; REST API; XML; JSON; LDAP; SOAP; Service Catalog; CSS3; MID Servers; and SDLC.
