What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Support both vehicle & component level tests on simulation rigs ( single axis electrodynamic shaker tables, MTS-329 road simulator, and MTS Multi axis simulation (MAST): test setup, detailed inspections, scheduling, maintenance and retrofits
- Root cause and report: Document and report issues identified during test or inspections. Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered. Provide detailed written & verbal test status updates to key stake holders during weekly meetings
- Support Engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition setup and logging
- General test equipment maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes, and adapt to change
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Basic machine shop skills desired with welding skills a plus
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused and have the ability to manage their time to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritize tasks
- Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and maintain a safe working environment
