As a, you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders (eg. Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Tax, etc.) to understand, capture, and translate launch requirements into high quality configuration that ensures Microsoft’s broad catalog of products and services ship on time, to the right regions and channels, at the right prices.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field AND 2+ year(s) experience in Operations or Process Design or Program/Project Management work.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience presenting to leadership and/or stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field AND 5+ Operations or Process Design or Program/Project Management experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field AND 3+ years Operations or Process Design or Program/Project Management experience.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Able to demonstrate Analytical skills, Problem solving, Relationship Building, Presentation Skills, Written Communication, Decision making.
  • Demonstrated Launch Management and Product go-to-market execution experience
  • Catalog or Offer or Pricing Management experience preferred
  • Experience with applying quality assurance principles, engaging with, and managing stakeholders and able to demonstrate strategic thinking.
  • Good to have skills: MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Presentation, ERP, SAP, PowerBI/ Data Visualization. SQL querying, VB, or PowerApps, a plus

Responsibilities

With minimal direction:

  • Translates business requirements from all stakeholders into a data plan of record that meets launch goals and desired marketplace capabilities (eg. accurate product attribution, price, dates)
  • Develops knowledge of broad operational, functional areas, their requirements, and interdependencies to support translation of marketing strategy into the launch of high-quality product and service configuration.
  • Garners support and alignment with stakeholders for the deliverables and objectives of the launch and incorporates them into the product design, plan, execution
  • Brings stakeholders in at the right time for quality assurance validation, communicates progress, identifies gaps, and ensures risks are mitigated associated with the product configuration and launch.
  • Identifies and tracks launch issues and risks, manages change control, cross-group orchestration, and product configuration milestones to ensure a consistent, predictable, and measurable launch experience.
  • Finds efficiencies and makes continuous improvements across process and systems landscapes that drive for lower cost per launch and faster time to market.
  • Evaluates success metrics for launches post execution. Ensure the successful launch of products and services, troubleshooting any issues that arise and driving timely resolution.
