Required/minimum qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years in infrastructure capacity or demand planning
• 2+ years of advanced Excel modeling experience used for forecasting/planning

• 4+ years of relevant experience with progressive advancement within your discipline
• Partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence business partners without direct authority and to appropriately push back when required
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving technology and business model trends
• Prefer a deep understanding of the technology industry, particularly commercial public and private cloud services, business models and economics
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and virtual-team efforts
• Able to demonstrate analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and ability to think strategically

• Publish executive-grade monthly and quarterly financial and operational summary including insights to highlight risks and opportunities impacting bottom lines in a timely manner. Drive reviews with executive leadership, clearly communicating results and providing recommendations.
• Lead demand and capacity planning for GitHub Copilot, partnering with the product teams to shape token and GPU forecasts for feature launches, user and usage growth.
• Own analytical insights and modeling of the capacity drivers and GPU utilization, influence product investment prioritization and pricing through ROI analyses.
• Articulate findings into high quality communications and facilitate executive decision making across engineering, marketing, and finance executive leaders.
• Continuously improve and evolve COGS and Gross Margin insights garnered through financial results and KPIs with goal of influencing/impacting business in positive manner and crisp story telling.
