The role of the Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (ITIM) - AI Leases requiresto selfdirect and who has a background inData Center Construction& Fitout projects,with anemphasis on passive telecom infrastructure/construction management.

The ITIM is responsible for the program management of all integration and technical infrastructure fitactivities associated with MSFT owned system and/or services and critical infrastructure that is required tobe installed into new data center buiin the. The role requires the identification and management of scopes and interdependenciesbetween all external and internal stakeholders and coordinating same with the physical construction buildand general contractor. The ITIM is responsible for coordinating the handover process and ensuring therequired handover documentation and expectations are met to handover the space to our Operations teams

The ITIM is responsible for producing and managing project plans and executing major milestones (Access, Ready Network Install, Corpnet Live, Security CX Complete, Fit Out Complete, Lockdown, Colo Readyand for the financial approval and management function.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in Data Center construction project management or other Information Technology build outs
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in IT fit out or construction related project management
  • 2+ yearsexperience in Safety Management on a construction/fit out project


Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI (Project Management Institute) – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly desired
  • BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications Design/Installation Experience preferred.
  • Experience managing large scale data center projects with both localized and virtual teams.
  • Client or Contractor side Datacenter construction or management experience.

• Ability to maintain a broader perspective, identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
• Incorporate diverse perspectives to thoroughly address complex business issues.
Responsible for developing, managing, and reporting onscope, schedule, and budget inrelation to the Integration scope and packages.
Work independently in support of the DCD PM.
Track lessons learned and identify and execute on cost down site up opportunities.
Promote and support vendor Management and contract compliance
Provide Vendor oversight and performance management, as required.
Support Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP’s), PER’s, and other project approval tools &
Review and approval of vendor scope of work and design review of site and building plans, as
Validate vendor payapplication and invoice review and approval in line with milestone payment
Manage compliance with prior audit results and recommendations.
