As a SDET, you will develop, execute, and maintain software to test the product. SDETs at Amazon are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable them to significantly improve product quality. You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of computer science principles, as well as knowledge of how to architect software for maximum longevity.In this position, you will be exposed to Amazon’s best practices when it comes to QA engineering. Additionally, you will get firsthand experience working directly on our Fire TV products and services.Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will
- Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.
- Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
- Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
- Mentor junior engineers.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 2+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- 2+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

- Experience shipping media devices
